Sarah Rice

For seven years, I lived my “dream job” …. Something many people never have the privilege of saying.  I had dreamed of being a Kindergarten teacher since my very first day of school.  I loved teaching children to LOVE learning!  Currently, I am taking some time off from the classroom, but still using my classroom management skills as “Chaos Coordinator” to my own four kiddos.  I’m involved in their school, girl scouts, and our church.  But, somehow I manage to find time for my mom and some of her crazy ideas – like, “let’s write a children’s book!”  When she told me the topic, I was sold on the idea.  My grandma died when I was only eight and I still think about her so often.  Having my own kids now, I realize the important role that grandparents play in the lives of children.
